Terms & Conditions
Last updated: January 20, 2025
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services, product sales, and installations provided by
Gamma Plumbing (“we”, “our”, “us”). By using our website, booking a service, or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services Provided
We provide licensed residential and light commercial plumbing services in Michigan, including:
- Plumbing repairs, replacements, and installations
- Drain cleaning and leak detection
- Fixture installation (sinks, faucets, showers, toilets, tubs, water heaters)
- Sale of plumbing products with or without installation
2. Product Purchases & Installation Options
- Products may be purchased alone or together with professional installation.
- Prices shown on the website apply to the product only, unless clearly marked as a product+installation package.
- Installation is billed separately as a service and must be selected during checkout or booked later.
- Once a product has been installed or used, it is considered final sale and cannot be returned as new.
3. Warranties on Products & Installation
- Manufacturer warranties apply only when the product is installed according to manufacturer instructions and local plumbing codes.
- Any product warranty and our workmanship warranty are valid only if the product is installed by Gamma Plumbing.
- Products installed by third parties are not covered by our workmanship warranty.
- Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or modification voids all warranties.
4. Installation Services & On-Site Conditions
- Installation includes only the tasks listed in the service description or agreed in writing.
- Existing plumbing must be in safe, accessible, and reasonably sound condition.
- Additional plumbing modifications (valves, piping, connectors, shutoffs, code upgrades) may be required for safe installation.
- These additional materials and labor are not included in basic installation and will be billed separately.
- The customer is responsible for providing safe access to the work area, water supply, and electricity during service.
5. Online Payment for Services
- All scheduled services are paid online in advance unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Online payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors; we do not store card details.
- Service fees are non-refundable once a technician has been dispatched to the property.
- If we arrive and cannot access the property (no response, locked entry, unsafe conditions), the service fee still applies.
6. Additional Costs During Repair Work
During diagnostic or repair work, our technicians may find additional issues such as:
- worn or damaged valves or shutoffs
- cracked, corroded, or undersized pipes
- non-functioning or unsafe components
- failed gaskets, seals, or internal fixture parts
These items are not included in the original service price.
Any required replacement parts and extra labor are billed in addition to the original service fee and are due after the repair is completed.
7. Exclusions & Non-Covered Conditions
We are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing plumbing issues, hidden defects, or structural problems in the building.
- Damage caused by rust, corrosion, age, or prior improper installations.
- Clogs caused by foreign objects, grease, wipes, toys, construction debris, or other non-flushable items.
- Leaks or failures resulting from foundation movement, severe weather, or freezing conditions.
8. Drain Cleaning & Clog Warranty
Clogs may reoccur due to pipe condition, root intrusion, buildup, or outdated plumbing systems.
No warranty is provided for drain cleaning or clog removal unless explicitly stated in writing.
9. Limitation of Liability
While we work carefully and professionally, our liability is limited as follows:
- We are not liable for existing weaknesses in your plumbing system that become apparent during or after our work.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages such as lost income, business interruption, or secondary property damage (e.g., flooring, walls, furniture, mold growth).
- We are not responsible for defects in customer-supplied products or third-party materials.
10. Refunds & Returns
- Installed products cannot be returned as “new”.
- Service fees are non-refundable once work has started or a technician has arrived.
- Defective products are handled under manufacturer warranty where applicable.
